“I’m sorry I can’t be with you guys this year. My job changed this past June, and a long weekend off is going to be tough to get, in fact impossible. I was layed off from Fleming Foods in May after being there almost 26 years. They are in bankruptcy and closed down our warehouse in Phoenix. Now I work at Home Depot in the receiving department. My Wife, Lamona, and I have had some great trips to Kentucky to visit with our daughter, Michelle and her husband Dave Lafleur. Our daughter, Tracy, teaches third grade for the Peoria School District, here in Arizona. Our son, Anthony, lives here in Glendale with his wife Ginnette.”
