“Larry and I spent most of our married life in the Zion/Winthrop Harbor area. I worked as an executive assistant at Abbott Labs (10 yrs.), American Hospital Supply/Baxter Healthcare (15 yrs.), and a private equity firm in Lake Forest (2 yrs.). Larry worked for the North Shore RR/Union Pacific RR for 42 years, and recently retired in May 2003. We moved to the Villages, FL, in June 2003 and are having a wonder-ful time doing all of our favorite outdoor activities (golfing, biking, running, gardening). Our son, Steve, is working on his PhD in bioinformatics at Washington University in St. Louis. He is still single. We are learning new things and meeting new people on a daily basis.
