“What have I been doing since high school? Hmm—accomplishing a goal and a dream I had way back then -- to get married, have children and live a happy life. I’ve been married 39½ years to my high school sweetheart, Jack Haye, class of 62. We raised two sons and are now enjoying the benefits of those boys in our four beautiful grandchildren. The journey hasn’t been without its sorrows. We’ve lost 3 parents and my mom is experiencing the challenges of dementia. She lives in a home here in Fond du Lac. It makes me realize how precious life is and I thank God for each day and I ask Him to give me strength, wisdom, courage and guidance to do the best that I can. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in Octo-ber.”
