“After graduating from nursing school at St. Luke’s in Racine, Wis., where I met my husband Jim, we be-gan our life of travel and adventure. Jim was in the military for 26 years, returning in 1992 as a Lt.Col. in the U.S. Army. We moved 14 times, living in 10 different states with our 2 children, Karen & Bob and various cats. During that time I did some nursing, but the majority was spent working with children in the child development field. After making our final move here to North Carolina 2 years ago, I have enjoyed not working! Our daughter lives in Beach Park with her husband Ian and our first grandchild Katelyn, 1 year old and another due in March. Karen works at Rolling Hills as an occupational therapist. Our son Bob lives in Greensboro, N.C., with his wife Rachel. Bob works for New England Financial.”
